Who are we?

The Earth Park journey started when a group of local mums sought permission to clean up a tract of disused land in Grong Grong.

In the centre of town the land was in a perfect position for a garden, perhaps a playground and certainly some shady quiet respite for travellers on the busy Newell Highway. A Design Storm Morning Tea was held, open to all interested families in the district – especially those with young children – to contribute ideas into the plan for the Earth Park.

We operate by committee, and are grateful to the Narrandera Shire Council, and the Berembed Trust for funding and assistance in bringing this project to life.
