Free Camping

Free campers are welcome to camp alongside the barbecue area on the street in Grong Grong or on the railway side in the tranquil setting of native trees between the Earth Park and the silos. The amenities block offers free hot showers and clean toilets. For coffee and hot meals pop into the Grongy Store or over to the Royal Hotel. We hope you have a peaceful and happy stay. We love our pizza oven – especially when it’s fired up and roasting some delicious Grong Grong pork from local farmers John and Lauren Dowling of Grunt Pork Grong Grong. We built it ourselves and use it for Christmas celebrations and community dinners.
